Peake Federal Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative.

Our mission is to improve the lives of our member-owners by providing quality financial products and services while maintaining the growth and stability of the Credit Union.

As a volunteer on the Board of Directors or a Board committee, you can provide general direction and control of the credit union.

You’ll need to attend regularly scheduled meetings and the occasional training session, seminar or workshop to understand the credit union industry and your role as a volunteer.

Rules for Election to the Board of Directors

Jeff Mayhew, Board Chair of Peake Federal Credit Union, has appointed a Nominating Committee to review and recommend candidates to fill three vacancies on the Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee consists of Douglas Burgess, chair, and members Emery Huang, Lisa Eicholtz, and Bill Morely.

The Nominating Committee is responsible for the nomination of at least one (1) member of the Credit Union in good standing for each vacancy and will determine that those members nominated are agreeable to the placing of their names in nomination and will accept the office if elected.

Interested candidates should submit a completed application by providing the same information required of other nominees and by submitting a petition signed by one percent (1%) of the members in good standing who are eligible to vote, with a minimum of 130 members, whichever is greater by Friday, October 31, 2025. This petition shall be submitted no later than 40 days prior to the Annual Meeting planned for April 14, 2026. Only legible signatures with the name lettered or typed below them will be acceptable. The decision of the Nominating Committee regarding the validity of the petition is final.

Loan PolicyReviews Loan Policy Manual and recommends changes, conducts a review of loans.
LegislativeMaintains cognizance of State and Federal Legislative Issues relating to credit unions.

Supervisory Committee

The supervisory committee safeguards member assets by ensuring that the credit union is operating in the interests of the credit union’s members, and in accordance with sound business, ethical, and regulatory standards.

BuildingReviews building operations, recommends improvements and/or contracts, reviews building security and safety.
InvestmentManages assets and liabilities, updates the Investment policy, makes recommendations to the Board, and prepares the budget.
