New online and mobile banking experience coming on September 16.

Whether you prefer to bank on your desktop or mobile device, your digital banking experience is about to get an upgrade. With a fresh, modern look and improved features, the new Peake Online and PeakeMobile are designed to be more user-friendly – so you can manage your money more easily, anytime, anywhere. This upgrade is just one more way we’re helping you reach your financial Peake.

Here are some frequently asked questions:

When will the new Peake Online and PeakeMobile be active?

Tuesday, September 16 at 9:00 a.m. eastern.

Will I need to re-enroll?

Yes, all members will need to re-enroll, but the process is easy:

  1. Go to www.peakefederal.com or download the PeakeMobile app from your app store
  2. Verify your information (member number, social security number and date of birth)
  3. Create new login credentials
Will I have to download a new mobile app?

Yes, you will need to download PeakeMobile from the Apple or Google store. The existing Peake Mobile app will be unavailable after 5:00 p.m. eastern on Monday, September 15.

What can I do now to prepare?

Be sure your contact information in Peake Online is current.

  1. Log in to Peake Online via a web browser on your mobile device or on a computer.
  2. Choose settings in the upper right navigation bar.
  3. Choose profile.
  4. Update your email, address, and cell phone numbers if necessary.

We strongly advise members to use a personal email address – many employers block system-generated and mass-send emails like those you will receive when logging in the first time and for password resets.

What are some of the new features to look forward to?

There are several new features to help you reach your financial Peake:

  1. Plaid – this will allow you to make external transfers to and from your account at another financial institution, or view your balance at other financial institutions, on your dashboard.
  2. Chat and voice-activated banking – you will be able to make transfers, get account balances, or pay a loan using chat or voice-activated commands.
  3. Credit score – view your credit score each month.
Will I have to re-enter my Bill Pay accounts?
No! Your Bill Pay account and recurring payments, history, payees, etc. will transfer into the new system.
When will the current Peake Online and Peake Mobile be unavailable?

Certain services will be briefly unavailable while the systems are transitioned:

  1. Peake Online and the Peake Mobile app – Monday, September 15 from 5:00 p.m. to Tuesday, September 16 at 9:00 a.m. eastern.
  2. Mobile Deposit – Monday, September 15 from 1:00 p.m. to Tuesday, September 16 at 9:00 a.m. eastern.
  3. Bill Pay / Zelle – Monday, September 15 from 2:00 p.m. to Tuesday, September 16 at 9:00 a.m. eastern.
Will I need to set up new banking alerts?

Yes, your current alerts will not transfer.

Will remote (mobile) deposit be the same?
Yes. You will still be able to deposit checks through your app, but the look and feel will be different.
Will Zelle be the same?
Yes, your existing Zelle account will be active – all contacts, recurring transfers, and history will be available at launch.
Will I still be able to transfer funds between my Peake Federal accounts?
Yes, you can set up transfers between Peake Federal accounts on which you are an owner.
Will I see all the accounts that I am a joint owner on?

Yes!

Will I be enrolled in eStatements?

If you are currently enrolled in eStatements, you will still be enrolled. You can also opt-in to eStatements when you enroll in the new platform for the first time.

Will my recurring transfers to other financial institutions be available?

No – these transfers will need to be set up again. We are moving to Plaid for external account transfers. Plaid will allow you to set up transfers to your accounts at other financial institutions from your online banking dashboard.
